Colorectal  cancer in the first stage ... How is it treated

if diagnosed with colorectal cancer, the first thing the doctor does is to determine the stage of the illness to start the appropriate treatment. Each stage indicates the development and spread of cancer.

Colorectal cancer is usually diagnosed based on a system established by the US Joint Commission on Cancer called the TNM Staging System:

The system considers the following factors:

Primary tumor (T):

The primary tumor indicates how large the original tumor is and whether cancer has grown to the Colon wall or spread to neighboring areas.

 Lymph nodes (N):

The lymph nodes indicate the extent of cancer cells spreading to nearby lymph nodes.

Distant metastasis or cell transmission (M):

Distant metastases indicate whether cancer has spread from the colon to other parts of the body, such as the lungs or liver.

Diagnosis of Colorectal cancer in the first stage

In the first stage, cancer has grown in the mucous membrane and under the mucous glands or has also grown in the adipose muscle. Cancer has not yet spread to nearby lymph nodes or distant sites.
What are the symptoms of colon cancer in the first stage?

Signs and symptoms of Colorectal  cancer in  the first stage:

-Intestinal bowel disorders, with diarrhea and constipation.

- Bleeding in the rectum or blood in the stool.

- Abdominal pain, cramps, and lots of gas.

- inability to empty the intestines completely.

- Stress and fatigue.

- Unwarranted weight loss.

Colorectal  Cancer Treatment

In the case of colon cancer during the first stage, the doctor may recommend surgery, such as:

Removal of benign tumors during colonoscopy:

If the cancer is small, and is in the form of a tumor at a very early stage, the doctor may be able to remove it completely through the sight of the stomach.

Minor surgery:

This surgery is performed if benign tumors cannot be removed with Nador technology. During laparoscopic surgery, the doctor removes cancer by making small incisions in the abdominal wall and inserting the cameras that show the colon on the screen in front of him to determine the location of the injury. The doctor may also take samples of the lymph nodes in the area where the cancer is to be examined for quality and appropriate treatment.
